Is your auto physical damage coverage enough to protect you from financial ruin?

In 2013, a poll was done by which discovered that the average cost of a new car/truck was $32,086. If your auto policy property damage coverage is set at the state minimum for NE then you only have $25,000 in coverage. If you were to run a red light or stop sign and collide with a newer vehicle chances are you won’t have enough property damage coverage to pay for the other person’s damages. This will leave you in debt for the remaining amount leading you into financial hardship or even bankruptcy. Can this be foreseen or stopped? Yes. Contact your agent today to review your auto policy and make sure you have adequate coverage to safeguard yourself, your family and your financial assets.
